Here’s how Raima Islam Shimu’s husband Nobel planned and executed the murder of his wife

How the Bangladesh Police solved the mystery behind actress Raima Islam Shimu’s murder is a remarkable story. They took her husband Shakhawat Hossain Nobel and his friend into police custody after discovering a suspicious connection between the plastic thread used to tie the sack and a bundle of the same thread found in Nobel’s car. Then, Shimu’s husband confessed everything after hours of interrogation.

According to the reports, Nobel allegedly strangled Shimu to death on January 16 in the morning. Then he reached out to his friend Farhad and asked him to help him out and at Nobel’s residence they reportedly chalked out the plan to dump Shimu’s body. According to the plan, they put the body in the sack and sewed it with the thread that was later found in Nobel’s car. After that, the security guard of the residence was sent to a nearby shop to bring breakfast so that Nobel and his friend can escape with the body in Nobel’s car.

They had planned to dump the dead body in Mirpur area but it couldn’t be done. So, both of them returned to their Green Road residence. Police suspect that in the evening they finally dumped the body near Keraniganj.

According to media reports, Nobel then washed his car thoroughly to remove all the traces and even used bleaching powder to remove any suspicious odour. During the interrogation, Nobel confessed that he had filed a Missing Diary with the Kalabagan Police Station to strengthen his alibi.

Meanwhile, Raima Islam Shimu’s sister has claimed that the actress had informed her earlier about how Nobel used to torture her and also about the family feud. Her sister has now demanded strict exemplary punishment of Shimu’s murderers.
